Our festival pays homage to the iconic Ingmar Bergman’s masterpiece, ‘Virgin Spring.’ Serving as a dynamic platform, we invite emerging filmmakers from all backgrounds, genres, and budget constraints to share their remarkable stories.Every month, our distinguished jury conducts private screenings to honor outstanding films, crowned by an exclusive interview with the Film of the Month winner.
To culminate our cinematic journey, the year concludes with an exhilarating annual live festival, featuring filmmaker interactions, vendors, distinguished guests, and a grand awards ceremony.
VIRGIN SPRING CINEFEST : A FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE THE LIBERATION AND FREEDOM OF VISUAL STORYTELLING
Welcome to the Virgin Spring Cinefest. It is the platform that every filmmaker needs, in order to showcase and get recognitions for their film. The objective of the Film Festival is to support independent filmmakers through reviewing, judging, marketing, and distribution networking, and trying to overcome any other obstacles which potentially hinder the artist’s ability to create. We have created monthly editions to give continuity to the selection process and a steady feedback to the filmmakers. Instead of waiting for months before getting an answer from the festival, filmmakers are immediately contacted if selected. Their works are privately screened every month and evaluated by a team of experts in the industry. All entries do not compete against each other. Instead, entries are judged against a high standard of merit and are scored accordingly. The monthly winners will then compete to be screened at our annual event. The event aims to create a strong relationship between filmmakers, producers and distributors from all over the world.
